The normal tip in a UK restaurant is
between 10 and 12.5%for service, or 15% if it has been exceptional.
It's always worth checking your restaurant bill to see if a tip has
automatically been added to the total; as it's easy to end up paying
twice.
Unfortunately tips added to a credit card
payment don't always end up with the staff, but it's impossible to know
this without checking with your waiter or waitress. It's usually
best to leave cash. |
