Antiques & Vintage shops

Antiques & Vintage shops in and around Clapham

We’ve listed some of our favourite antiques and vintage shops in and around Clapham, Battersea and Balham but do get in touch if you know of any others. Of course, the beauty of antiques and vintage furniture and accessories – apart from actually being beautiful  – is in their originality. The most interesting interiors are those with original and unusual pieces that you won’t find in your average chain store. Then there’s the sense of history – who were the previous owners and where did the item originate from? And, you never know, your purchase may double in value in a few years!

Look out for antique and vintage fairs too. The Decorative Antiques and Textile Fair takes place three times a year in Battersea Park.  Follow us on Twitter @TotallyClapham and we’ll keep you updated with other local antiques and vintage events.

Predominately Victorian up to present day with a lot of Art Nouveau and Art decor pieces. It’s not cheap but you can still get some bargains. We like the antique maps, many at least 100 years old.
